      The material is very rigid and hard so it's not comfortable against your eyes and by your nose. I hardly notice the pads, they're not very thick and smaller than pictured. You can still see underneath. In addition, the elastic is too big for me so it doesn't properly stay in place.

      In short, not comfortable and doesn't block out light.
