I have never used a cock ring before since I always thought they were only used to prolong the duration of an erection, and I have never had any problems relating to that with my male partners. That was before I learned that cock rings also come with vibration, so I was really excited to test the Satisfyer Rocket Ring out!
Packaging
I think there are no needs to discuss the packaging from Satisfyer. All their packagings are perfect, professional, secure and so so beautiful. You can see how the toy looks on the front cover and all the key things you want to know are listed on the back. If you are at a physical store, the box is designed so that you can open the cover and see how the toy actually looks like, without actually opening the box and contaminating the toy.
Batteries
It’s a standard with all Satisfyer products that it has a rechargeable battery. The charging cable comes with the toy, but it’s the same one for all other toys from Satisfyer, so I just kept this one as a spare.
Use
As advertised, the Satisfyer Rocket Ring can be used in both solo and couple play. I will mainly focus on couple play, however, I am still going to tell something about solo play.
Couple Play
Both my partner and I have zero experience with a cock rings, so we struggled quite a bit. Remember to USE LUBE! I’m pretty sure this is probably written in the manual but I didn’t read it. The ring itself is quite small, and it is definitely not as stretchy as I expected it to be. Even after applying a quite generous amount of lube, we still struggled to put it on; and when it was on, his veins were popping out quite a bit which looked a bit worrying. I think this should be normal as you are literally restricting the blood flow there, but it still looks quite scary.
While using this Rocket Ring, his erection definitely felt firmer and somehow straighter? I think the correct word would be more protrusive, which is not necessarily a good or a bad thing. But for me and my partner, his penis is already big enough for me, so with the Rocket Ring, in some angles, it started feeling uncomfortable or painful. For him though, he felt everything a bit more intensely which was nice, but was not something revolutionary enough.
I was sceptical about the vibrator, and as I suspected, because of the thrusting motion, the vibrator part does not always land on your clitoris, therefore, it can feel nice, but only sometimes.
Solo Play
The obvious one is using the ring as a vibrator, and it does a good job at that since it is comparable to any other simple vibrator. But I do have other options so this is not something I will gravitate towards to. Maybe I can bring it on vacations since it is really small.
The other way we used this was solo play for my male partner. Instead of having the vibrator part upward, he turns it upside down and uses the vibration to stimulate his balls. He really enjoys that, but it is not something he would do often as the ring is really tight.
Conclusions
Overall, it was a bit disappointing, but I think it’s partially because we did not have the need for it initially already, and if the ring fits a bit better, the experience would have been nicer. I think this toy will be perfect for people who struggle to keep their erection long enough to satisfy their partners and people with a not particularly thick penis. The vibrator part just didn’t really work for me.
