Many couples with an active sex life need it: a good lubricant. So do we. For vaginal toys or sex I need very little, but it is absolutely necessary for anal. For personal reasons, we switched to a silicone lubricant. This works very well for us. When it comes to brand, we use what is available. This bottle is from Pjur. We have used it before when we bought a bottle in the store. We liked it a lot
The bottle comes in a sealed package. That is very nice, because you can just imagine the mess if that started leaking. I think it's a nice addition, because I recently had that problem with a bottle of all-purpose cleaner. Not from EasyToys of course, but from a drug store chain.
The lubricant comes in a black bottle with a minimalist design. It may as well be a can of shaving cream or hairspray. It is certainly not overtly kinky among the other bottles in the bathroom. The bottle has a screw cap. This has the disadvantage that you have to screw the cap on with slippery fingers, but it can't clog as sometimes happens with a squeeze bottle. Often some dust or dirt gets into the mouth of the squeeze bottle and there's much less chance of that happening with this shape.
The lubricant itself is transparent and odorless and tasteless.
The active ingredient is silicone. The nice thing about this lubricant is that it is non-toxic. It does not dry out and is barely absorbed by your body. So you can maintain friction. It's okay if you ingest some, because your body will automatically expel it. You can use this lubricant in combination with latex condoms. This lubricant shouldn't be used with silicone toys, though. There is a possibility that the silicone of the toy can react with the silicone of the lubricant and things can melt and stick. It depends on the dildo or vibrator and also on the quality of the components. It's also a good idea to test it separately first before applying. We did not experience any problems with the toys we own.
This lubricant worked very well for us. It glides well and doesn't dry out quickly. It created enough friction with the toys. The consistency is great.
Lube is quite a binary product: you like it or you don't. In our case, we like the Pjur silicone lubricant. It does its job well and because of the large bottle, it'll take a while before you run out. Then all that's left is for us to play more. What a chore ????
