People who have been into BDSM and pain play for a while have probably collected a variety of clamps. We own a spreader bar and a couple of sets of nipple clamps. Now, I've never really been a fan of clamps on my labia.
We have, in the past, tried using the clamps we already own. I thought that was too painful. However, the idea of being open and available for my Dominant still appealed to me so I asked to test this labia spreader manufactured by You2Toys.
The labia spreader is packaged in a small, almost square box. The packaging features a naked, sultry brunet. A picture shows you how to use the toy; this turned out to be somewhat useful. The picture on the back of the box is very unclear. I have a fair idea of what they were getting at after using the toy but the picture was difficult to interpret.
The spreader is made from a flexible metal, which has been covered in silicone, and the black part of the clamps is made from hard ABS plastic. The clamps are approximately six centimeters and the whole contraption is about twenty centimeters long. It's not easy but the ribbed, silicone rod can be bent into any shape you like. You can adjust the pinch of the clamps by turning a screw.
The leaflet included with this product is worthless. It's a generic guide explaining how to use a vibrator and doesn't contain any information about this labia spreader. The quality of this product is reflected in the price. It feels pretty sturdy and, you know what, you're not going to be using it every day.
I was a bit nervous about testing this product. Was it going to hurt? How exposed was I going to feel? I needn't have worried. The clamps only hurt before we adjusted them. It wasn't intolerable or awful. It was just unpleasant. Luckily enough my Dominant was nice enough to loosen them a bit for me. They could be loosened to such an extent that they were comfortably clamped to my labia. My Dominant found it quite difficult to bend the toy in such a way that it spread my labia while also giving him access to my delicate parts. Naturally, we didn't take the box to bed with us, so we didn't have the instructions to hand. My husband eventually managed to bend the toy into a shape which worked for us.
I found a the sensation of being spread open like that a bit odd. I felt pretty vulnerable. My husband was able to easily insert fingers in places he usually has to try hard to access. It was an exciting and nerve-wracking experience.
Am I happy that I took the plunge and tried this labia spreader? Yes, I am. I've always been fascinated with speculums and spreaders and it was cool to experience it for myself. I definitely think we're going to use this toy more often during our BDSM play. We may combine it was a small flogger so we can achieve ultimate access the most sensitive areas. I think the price is just right for an item like this one. It's fun for occasional use during play. I am really happy we've added it to our collection and I can recommend it to people who are serious about BDSM. It provides you with plenty of options to tease a female submissive. She will, lets be honest, be open to all your suggestions.
