I made a special request to test out this set. This is because I myself suffer to a certain extent from vaginismus. That means that the vagina prevents penetration by keeping the pelvic floor muscles too tight. It causes a lot of pain around penetration, and often it's not just penetration by a dildo, vibrator or penis but of just a single finger. The cause is often unclear.
Usually it causes a lot of embarrassment which is so unnecessary! It is involuntary for the muscles to tighten, and you can often only relax after a lot of training or not at all. Training is often done by a gynecologist and often dilators (these kinds of dildos) are prescribed. If you're really embarrassed, sometimes you don't even manage to get to the doctor for it, which is why it's really nice that this product is offered here.
Of course it's still important that you don't force anything (certainly not with dildos, this is best done step by step) and if it hurts too much, stop or switch to a smaller dildo. But the most important thing: don't keep trying to deal with it alone. This is not an unknown or unusual problem and you can always contact your doctor. Of course this is just my experience, as I said before, dilators are not the solution for everyone!
And penetration isn't everything, I've always gotten a lot out of clitoral stimulation, like for example with the Satisfyer Pro Penguin (it's still the old faithful in my nightstand).
The Dildo set
This product is a set of vaginal dildos you can use to get your pelvic floor muscles moving. This is often uncomfortable and may hurt. But always be aware of your limits, the goal is to make penetration more enjoyable and above all less painful.
This is also the idea behind anal dilators/training sets which actually do the same thing, only instead of your pelvic floor muscles it is of course the sphincter around the anus. So these dildos are vaginal but they could also be used anally, especially because of the curve in the dildo.
From the package
As always, it arrived in a neutral brown cardboard box, with no indication of what it may contain or which store it came from. That's useful if you prefer discreet packages thanks to curious roommates/family members.
Of course, the packaging of the product is often less discreet. With these dildos, that's a plastic package and a cardboard box with the dildos lined up inside. The box is very professional and uses clear, friendly language. It's also quite neutral so it's also pretty discreet on its own. But most of it is plastic and you can see all the dilators.
The dildos are really lovely and soft pink. They feel good in your hand (a little soft and skin-like) and are nice and smooth. It does take them a little longer to warm up to body temperature so I wouldn't keep them in too cold a place.
It is a set of five dildos, naturally in different sizes and widths. Namely:
7.50 cm long with a diameter of 1.25 cm
9 cm long with a diameter of 2 cm
10.75 cm long with a diameter of 2 cm
12.75 cm long with a diameter of 2.5 cm
14 cm long with a diameter of 3.25 cm
From small to large and also from thin to wide.
And there's a curve in it that makes it easier to insert. They are also a bit sharper (but still dull) than you would expect from normal dildos. And there is a ring at the end of the dildo for easy insertion and removal. But you can also put a vibrator through it.
In practice
I've tested these dildos for a longer period of time because it's not something you should force. And I have to say, I'm not quite done yet.
They're really easy to use! And I'm not quick to say that for a product that was a bit painful. But if you build up slowly, like I did, and sometimes take a step back, it's great. I also think it's a good idea to give someone else control sometimes. My partner also penetrated me with the dildos and we've even used them during sex. That allowed me to relax even more and let the movements just happen. With a dildo that I could insert almost painlessly myself, of course, otherwise it doesn't make sense. And another very important thing: use more than enough lubricant!
Conclusion
I definitely recommend this dildo set for vaginismus! I've tried it myself with ordinary dildos and there's no comparison. This is so much easier and feels so much better. And for the price you really get more than enough. It was totally worth it for me. But of course that's a personal thing.
I haven't been able to test them out anally yet, but they still seem like they'd work well.
