Why do I need to clean my dildo?

We understand that after an intense solo session with your toy, you may need some time to recover and may not feel like cleaning your dildo cleaning. Nevertheless, you would be wise not to wait too long for this. Cleaning your dildo is important for several reasons:

• Bacteria and fungi love warm and moist environments. If the dildo is not cleaned properly, it can lead to a buildup of bacteria and other microorganisms, which can eventually cause nasty infections.
• Sexually transmitted diseases can be passed on when you don't clean the dildo. Some STDs can live outside the body for weeks or months.
• Cleaning extends the life of your toy and keeps it looking like new.

How to proceed.

You now know why it's important to clean your favorite toy after each use. But how exactly does cleaning work? Here are some simple steps you can follow when cleaning your dildo:

Step 1

Rinse your dildo with warm water and a mild soap. This can be done in the shower or in the sink.

Step 2

Step 3

Be sure to rinse the dildo thoroughly after cleaning to remove soap residue.

Step 4

Dry your dildo with a clean, lint-free towel.

Step 5
