My husband always wanted to add a pinwheel to our toy collection. I was't all that keen. I didn't think it would be that much fun. I do think that the Fifty Shades toys are nice to have though. But the Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes was still missing from my collection.

After much thought we decided to go for this toy. After ordering, I really became curious. You can use the pinwheel in many ways by changing the pressure. After reading this review you'll know if I prefer the pinwheel as a nice toy or for punishment.

This package would include a lot we were curious about. There were five toys including the pinwheel. Thank goodness the box was nondescript. When received, we immediately started unboxing. How would it look and feel?
The Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes comes in a sleek little box. The box does not only contain a pinwheel but also a beautiful storage bag. The pinwheel is wrapped in paper so the pins won't poke you when you remove it. To protect the bag I'd recommend to re-wrap the paper around the pinwheel when you store it.

The Fifty Shades Darker Adrenaline Spikes is made of metal and with 18.5 centimeter this toy handles easily. The handle is nicely decorated and the wheel is marked with their logo. Which makes for a beautiful item. The wheel turns smoothly which makes it easy to use.
This toy is completely non-electric so you can always use it right away. Because the multiple pins aren't that sharp you won't hurt yourself immediately when touching it. This allows you to vary the feeling from pleasurable too painful, depending on the pressure you apply,

When the Adrenaline Spikes arrived, we tested them on our hands first. That night, we took them to the bedroom for further testing. My husband tried the Adrenaline Spikes on my breasts first. The cold metal together with the pins put me on high alert immediately. He gently rotated the pins around my nipple and then used it to prick it multiple times. Then he decided to trace it to my vagina where the cold metal especially startled me. He kept tracing it to my vagina. All over my butt, my back and the insides of my legs. That tipped me off the most. The excitement of what he was about to do and when, made sure I was totally ready for him. Although my partner used it just for pleasure this time, I did have some imprints afterwards. If you use more pressure, you can definitely use this toy for punishment.
