Last week, the package finally arrived. My partner and I were really looking forward to it, especially because it was our first ball gag. The fact that it says on the site that this is perfect for beginners was a nice bonus point. A ball gag is a round ball (that may or may not have holes in it) that is attached to a belt/strap.

The ball can be pushed into the mouth during sex or foreplay and then secured with the neck strap, so the ball can't go anywhere. It works well for bondage but also on its own. The ball can make you or your partner make less noise but also make you surrender more to your partner or vice versa.
First impression
The box it came in was very simple with no reference to the contents (a standard brown package with no store name/website). A big advantage if you don't want other people to know about your order.
The packaging of the ball gag is really lovely, sleek black/gray packaging with a clear picture of the product. The text and symbols are clear and provide information in several languages (FR,ES,IT,RU,EN,DE and NL). What I can really appreciate is a table on the back with all the specifications. You can also quickly and easily see what materials the product contains, in case you have any allergies. The packaging is attached at the top with a small sticker, and it's easy to open. The ball gag is in the box in plastic packaging (with a silica gel sachet, which absorbs moisture). It all looks very professional and hygienic, which is really important for me. On the back of the packaging on the bottom right, there are some brief "instructions" and there's not much more you need with this product. The belt (made of PU-leather) has 10 settings (as opposed to the 7 indicated on the package) and the strap can be adjusted from 42-62 cm. So the product has a setting that's comfortable for everyone. It's also nice that the belt looks quite strong but at the same time comfortable and soft. The PVC gag has a diameter of 4.5 cm and is eye-catching red. And an extra bonus about this gag is that it is hollow and contains air holes. So you don't have to worry about running out of air, which is also nice if you're not used to a ball gag yet.
Using it
When we used it, it really took some getting used to, and unfortunately it's not quite our thing, because it didn't turn my partner on at all. As expected, the strap was very comfortable and strong. But because of the PVC material, the ball looks cheap and doesn't feel entirely comfortable. The size is perfect and the air holes are nice when you're getting used to the ball. The ball gag is easy to use and it's easy to quickly grab and use.
Final verdict
The conclusion is that it's a high quality ball gag that's easy to use and will add a little extra to your sex life. It can take a hit and fits like a glove. Compared to the strap, the ball is a bit of a disappointment for us, but it is definitely something you can get used to. The ball gag is definitely a product that will last a long time because as I said before, it's top quality. I won't be using the product again with my main partner anytime soon, but I will certainly try the gag again with other partners.
